The foreigner has settled in a home, in my home. The flow of people migrating from south to north not only entails its share of human misery, but also new experiences and unexpected meetings. Being different doesn't have to be so strange.



In the home of Urs Pfannenmüller, a hut has been built. The hut is inhabited by a foreigner. The hut has been furnished according to the customs of the foreigner. You are received and guided through Urs Pfannenmüller's part of the home before entering the hut. For a brief period, you can make the acquaintance of the foreigner and strike up a conversation. Snacks and drinks will be provided at the meeting. Theatrical moments will play a role. What is real and authentic at this encounter and what is acted? In the end, both you as the visitor and the inhabitant will play a role. This project cannot be seen separately from the general discussion about foreigners (asylum-seekers, double nationalities, etc.) Urs Pfannenmüller may not come from a country in another continent, but he knows what it is to be a foreigner in another country from his own experience.
