Make photo and video shots of your eye together with the artist Toine Klaassen and exchange experiences of the usability of sunlight focused by a magnifying glass.



As journalists especially focus on acts of violence of a certain magnitude, Toine Klaassen has conceived of the idea to trace the lesser violence. In order to collect research material, he sets out with a magnifying glass on a stand and encourages you to confess in front of the lens to acts of violence you have committed by focusing the sun on living subjects. Instead of focusing on violence of a global magnitude, he thus hopes to acquire information on violence close to home. Collecting substantial archives, with the magnified eyes of 'the guilty'. Together with the crudely edited video images of conversations, you will be involved in the working of the 'Laboratory for Contemporary Archaeology' in and around the presentation space of the Bureau for Contemporary Adventure.
